For å minnes 250-årsjubileet for Ludwig van Beethovens fødsel, har ortofon laget 2M Black LVB 250 Exclusive Model.
2M Black LVB 250 har blitt gjenskapt fra konseptene til forgjengeren 2M Black, men ytelsen til 2M Black LVB 250 går et skritt videre på lydkvalitet og finesse. 2M Black LVB 250 bruker en Nude Shibata-diamant på en Boron cantilever, kombinasjonen kjent fra den anerkjente MC Cadenza Black pickupen. Den slanke, polerte profilen til Nude Shibata-stiften tillater et ekstremt bredt kontaktområde til rilleveggene og sikrer spesielt detaljert gjengivelse gjennom hele spekteret, inkludert selv de høyeste frekvensene. Bruken av en ekstremt stiv og lett Boron-cantilever gir bemerkelsesverdig gjennomsiktighet, hastighet og respons.

The 2M Series' engines, coils and magnets configurations are not identical: Red and Blue are identical, so are the Bronze and Black and so are the true mono variants 2M Mono and 2M 78. Likewise, 2M series styli are interchangeable within the below combinations:
